Your Personal Tutor

All students are allocated a personal tutor.

 

They are the first person to see if you want information or have any

queries or problems about your programme or any other aspect of

SEVTA.  The named person will contact other members of staff if they

have a concern about your  work, behaviour, attendance or progress.

 

• They are the person who is responsible for your induction and tutorial programme
• All students on full-time programmes are given a tutorial programme and are expected to attend a weekly tutorial session
• Carrying out your subject reviews, individual learning plans and feedback and evaluation sessions
• Responsible for regularly reviewing your progress based on the assessment from your subject tutors/curriculum tutors
• Responsible for helping you record your achievement and issuing reports and reference
• Responsible for helping you plan your steps to your future available to help you to identify ways you can study more effectively.
